We were at a family gathering a couple weeks ago where there was lots of food - lots of good food. My mom was preparing one of those fancy green salads with fruit and candied nuts like they have at Nordstrom Cafe. The thing that was surprising to me was that she was using an egg slicer to get amazingly even pieces of strawberry. It was another one of those "why didn't I think of that" moments.
I suppose you could use an egg slicer to cut all sorts of stuff... soft cheese, banana, marshmallow. What else have you used an egg slicer on?
